I'm a Brazilian singer-songwriter, based in Florida, writing art rock and pop music in English and Portuguese — songs built for people who still listen closely.
I was born in São José do Rio Preto, SP, Brazil, in 1979 and grew up inside music, eventually studying Vocal Arts at the Universidade Livre de Música — Centro Tom Jobim, and completing a post-graduate degree in Cantoterapia (Singing Therapy) in Brazil. The crossing between languages, cultures, versions of ourselves, and all our names is part of what I write about.
My music has moved between worlds from the start. I've recorded Brazilian-Portuguese vocals for Disney animations (Meet the Robinsons, Phineas & Ferb), was selected for TV Globo's FAMA and the 8th Visa Brazilian Music Award, Vocal Edition, and won an international award in the Music for the Earth competition with my song "Better World" in 2011. My debut album, Estrela de Mil Pontas, came out in 2010. In the years since, my work as a songwriter has grown quieter and more deliberate — searching for the things that go unnoticed, questions about identity and our place in the world, and the need for more love all around us.
My new album, A Space of Lightning Blue, was produced, mixed, and mastered by Juliano Cortuah, and it's the fullest picture yet of what I've been reaching for: chaos and hope held in the same hand, light breaking through storm clouds, the search for belonging in a world that keeps moving. It's releasing on vinyl and CD first — made for people who want to hold a record, not just scroll past it.
Alongside the music, I work as a court certified Portuguese-English interpreter. I also teach voice, help other independent artists navigate the business of music, and write on Substack, my Letters to Listeners, a monthly note on the work and the crossing.

Sou um cantor e compositor brasileiro, radicado na Flórida, que escreve art rock e pop em inglês e português — canções feitas para quem ainda escuta com atenção.

A minha música transita entre esses mundos desde o início. De lá para cá, o meu trabalho como compositor ficou mais silencioso e mais consciente — em busca das coisas que passam despercebidas, de questões sobre identidade e o nosso lugar no mundo, e da necessidade de mais amor ao nosso redor.
